Through the application of hyperthermia we are now in a position to pointedly raise the temperature in the tumor tissue. Thanks to modern technology, this can be done without hurting the patient. With the help of an applicator which we apply to the skin, we send shortwaves into the tumor and thus damage it.

In distinction to classical radiation where X-ray radiation is used, the microwaves we use are not radioactive! This allows to apply our therapy to most patients, regardless of tumor stage and general condition.

At a certain temperature range we initiate the destruction of the tumor without harming healthy tissue. This effect is due to the ability of healthy cells to conduct away the artificial heat faster and more effectively.

Most tumors lack this ability. As a consequence very high temperatures are built in the tumor cells which leads to their destruction by the natural scavenger cells of the body.

The effect of hyperthermia is particularly high for solid tumors and for the recurrence of previously treated tumors (relapse) and metastases.

Many scientists nowadays classify hyperthermia as the 4th column against cancer. Its effect has been well studied in large university centers in Europe and Japan now. There are more than 20,000 completed hyperthermia studies related to cancer.

Whole body hyperthermia helps us to strengthen the immune system of the patient to the extent that cancer cells are detected and attacked by the body independently.
